Animals Deserve Better, Inc Founder and Simon as Delta Society Pet Partners have been invited to participate in FutureVet events (www.futurevet.net) presented by Banfield Charitable Trust.

FutureVet presentations educate children on the proper care and handling of pets and encourage them to consider careers in veterinary medicine.

FutureVet events will be held on the following dates:

Saturday, February 18, 2012 - 12 p.m. to 1 p.m.
Saturday, March 31, 2012 - 12 p.m. to 1 p.m.
Saturday, April 28, 2012 - 12 p.m. to 1 p.m.

Our Therapy Team will come and visit your retirement or assisted living facility enjoy their warm eyes and big hearts. We will also come to your school and bring treats and interesting information.

The 17th Annual EAST COBBER Parade & Festival
Parade starts at 10 am
Festival opens at 11 am and closes at 3pm

In addition to the entertainment stage, arts & crafts exhibits and carnival games, the Festival is a venue for local civic groups, churches, synagogues, and other non-profits to raise awareness about their organizations’ contributions to East Cobb County.

Make sure you stop by the Animals Deserve Better booth.

We are rescuing puppies / dogs from high kill shelters to train them to become service / assistance companions - does your family need the help of a canine assistant ! Seizure Alert - psychiatric, autism or general mobility help us save two lives. Stop by and get all the information so we can help you.

Paw-casso Art Show, Auction & Pets are FURever Poster Contest

Paw-casso: An Art Exhibit By, For and About Animals, Marietta, GA. The 3rd Annual “Paw-casso” Art Show, Auction & Pets are fURever Poster Contest by, for and about animals, is a unique art show featuring works from private, public and home schooled school students that reside in Cobb County. Each school has been asked to submit works of art that will be offered for auction. “Paw-casso” will take place on November 5, 2011 at the Mountain View Community Center. Free parking. Face painting, soft drinks, snacks, music and a service/assistance dog or two. Event starts at 10 until 3.

This year we are having a PETS are FURever poster contest - the winner will have their poster made into "t" shirts
